Tulime is built by Digital Farming Solutions (DFS) to help farmers in Zambia manage their farm records, connect with buyers on the marketplace, and access agriculture support services. This policy explains what information Tulime collects, why, and how you can control it.
Information we collect

How we use your information
- Operate core features: marketplace listings, farmer biodata, outgrower and agriculture project records, payments and support services.
- Send you notifications about orders, prices, and services relevant to your farm.
- Improve reliability by diagnosing crashes and errors.
- Respond to support requests you send us.
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared with third parties only where needed to run the service — for example, our hosting provider, or a buyer you choose to transact with on the marketplace.
Where your data lives
App data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections to our servers at tulime.digitalfs.org. Photos and records you create are stored against your account until you delete them or close your account.
Permissions the app requests
- Camera & photo storage — only used when you choose to attach a photo to a listing or record.
- Notifications — only used to alert you about activity you've opted into.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your account or specific data at any time. See Delete Account and Delete My Data for instructions.
Children
Tulime is intended for farmers and agriculture professionals and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
